Marty Robbins - My Isle of Golden Dreams (Live Classics From The Grand O)
Out of the mist lips I have kissed call tenderly
Out of the west, hands I have pressed beckon to me
Over the sea waiting for me lonely and blue
Somebody sighs, somebody cries, I love you, I love you
Drifting in dreams, drifting it seems back to the shore
Where hand in hand over the sand we'll stroll once more
Heart of my heart, we'll never part, I hear her say
But with the dawn my dreams have gone astray
I hear the voice of my land
A-callin' me it seems
Those fair Hawaiian islands
My isle of golden dreams
I hear the voice of my land
A-callin' me it seems
Those fair Hawaiian islands
My isle of golden dreams
Marty Robbins 'My Isle Of Golden Dreams' & ' Hula Hands.' (04:15)
Hawaiian music was the first music that would see Marty adding another string to his bow way back in
the mid 50's. Until then he had stayed with Country music; this was the kind of music he chose to
launch what was to become his stunning diversity in the different genres he would visit in years to
come. A lot of people love Marty's Cowboy songs, but there's also a lot who love his Hawaiian music
as well.
A lovely song from Marty, enjoyed the listen.
Thankyou Marc

Tadashi, thanks for listening and commenting. There are probably still millions in the Marty's big fan group. I'm one of them, too. Have a good week, my friend.
